Installation Notice
● Operate the tire stud insert tool at 95 to 110 PSI to maximize the life of the tool gun and internal parts.
● Lubricate the tool by inserting a few drops of pneumatic tool oil directly into the air input.
● Properly mounted studs should look almost flush with the tire surface. Only the carbide pins and about 1/32 inch of the stud body should be visible. Also, make sure the studs are inserted directly into the holes. Tilted studs will not be properly fixed in the tire and will lead to premature failure.
● Never handle tire studding or other equipment without proper safety equipment. You should always protect yourself with store-approved safety glasses and work gloves.
● Before starting the tire studding procedure, please be sure to check for excessive wear on common wear parts of the tire stud insertion gun and feeder. We suggest that only trained personnel can repair the equipment. The steel head assembly of the stud gun is spring loaded. When you do the maintenance, please take extra care when disassembling the insertion tool.
