Basic rule you should know about wheel balance

In essence, wheels and tires never weigh exactly the same. A wheel’s valve rod hole usually removes a small amount of weight from one side of the wheel. Tires can also have a slight weight imbalance, whether it’s from the junction of the cover or simply a slight deviation in the shape of the wheel. At high speeds, a slight weight imbalance can easily become a large centrifugal force imbalance, causing the wheel/tire assembly to rotate in a “fast” motion. This usually translates to vibration in the car and some very irregular and destructive wear on the tires.
