Difference between Bias-Ply and Radial Tire
The characteristics of bias ply and radial tires are different due to their different construction methods. Radial tires are made of overlapping polyester and reinforced with steel mesh strips to stabilize, strengthen and strengthen the tread. Bias tires are made of alternating bevelled layers of rubberized nylon or polyester, with fiberglass bands strengthening the tread and sidewall areas to improve overall load capacity and provide fracture resistance.
