DEFINITION:

Type:

a nut is a part that connects mechanical equipment closely together by means of threads on the inside, nuts and bolts of the same specification, for example, the M4-P0.7 nut can only be connected with the M4-P0.7 series bolt; n products are the same, for example, 1/4 -20 nut can only be matched with 1/4 -20 screw.

Anti-loosening principle:

The DISC-LOCK locknut is made up of two parts, each with an interleaved cam. Due to the internal wedge design, the slope angle is greater than the nut angle of the bolt, so the combination is tightly occluded to form a whole, when the vibration occurs, the bulges of DISC-LOCK locknut move with each other to produce lifting tension, thus achieving a perfect lockout effect.

 

 

Lock Nut:

Purpose: locking threading joints or other pipe fittings.

The working principle of the nut is to use the friction between the nut and the bolt for self-locking. But the reliability of this self-locking is reduced under dynamic load. In some important occasions we will take some anti-loose measures to ensure the reliability of the nut lock. The locking nut is one of the measures to prevent looseness.

There are also three types of lock nuts:

The first one is to use two identical nuts to screw on the same bolt, and add a tightening moment between the two nuts to make the bolt connection reliable.

The second is a special anti-looseness nut, need and a can be used with anti-looseness gasket. The special anti-loosing nut is not a hexagon nut, but a medium-round nut, which has three, four, six or eight notches on the circumference of the nut. These notches are the starting point of the tightening tool, is also the anti-loose Gasket card card into the mouth.

The third one is to drill a thread hole from the outer surface of the nut to the inner surface of the nut, which is used to screw in a small diameter countersunk head screw. The better quality lock nut sold on the market has copper blocks on the inside round face of the nut, which is consistent with the lock nut thread, and is used to avoid the damage caused by the direct contact between the radial screw and the locked thread. The locking nut is gradually applied to the shaft end locking of rotating moving parts, such as the anti-looseness of the bearing at the mounting end of the ball screw.

The second method is more reliable than the first, but the structure is relatively complex. Compared with the first two, the third bell has the advantages of better anti-loosening effect, simpler and more beautiful structure, and smaller axial size.

Folding insert nut:

Using a variety of embossed wire production of copper nuts. The embedded knurled copper nuts that we come into contact with daily are all processed by precision automatic lathe. The reference standard of embedded knurled copper nut comes from GB/T809.

The main operation mode of embedded knurled copper nut is injection molding. After heating, it can be embedded into the plastic part or directly injected into the mold. If the mold is used for injection molding, the melting point of PA/NYLOY/PET is above 200 ° C, the temperature of the embedded nut quickly increases after it is hot melted into the plastic part. After injection molding, the plastic body rapidly cools and crystallizes and hardens. If the temperature of the embedded nut is still high, it is possible to pour until the copper nut comes into contact with the plastic part and begins to loosen or crack. So in the injection molding of the embedded nut, the copper nut is used instead of the carbon steel nut.

There are two ways to form the outer pattern of the embedded copper nut, one is to use the copper raw material to draw the pattern and then produce it on the upper equipment, the other is the use of round copper material directly in the production process while tapping edge embossing, such processing can produce a number of non-standard size knurled copper nuts, embedded copper nuts embossing shape can be chosen by the user, such as mesh, figure eight embossing, herringbone embossing and other rolling patterns.
